One of the biggest fears that people have when using our product is whether or not it will hurt their vehicle’s engine. Oxon2 fuel treatment will NOT damage your engine because when it is added to fuel, the fuel remains within the ASTM specifications for fuel that engine makers calibrate their engines to. Our products only enhance the way fuel works, and do no harm to gasoline or diesel engines!
This answer relies on the client’s volume usage and the current price of fuel, as Oxon2’s price is linked to market conditions. That said, our prices always result in a significant net positive on operational savings, as our product helps vehicles save on fuel efficiency.
This comes down to the chemical reaction that occurs during combustion, where oxygen (from the air) and hydrocarbons (in fuel) produce energy in the forms of heat and work. Combustion is either used for a useful application (driving a car forward) or used to achieve the minimum activation energy barriers for the oxygen, lost by fighting friction or spent on endothermic processes.
The 15% fuel consumption decrease correlates to the percentage of energy used for a useful application. When adding Oxon2 to your fuel, it takes an average of 15% fewer hydrocarbons to react with oxygen because Oxon2 causes fuel hydrocarbons to attract oxygen already present in the air.
You will likely feel a difference in the power of your engine almost immediately after implementing our product into your fuel system. That said, for further proof you can keep track of your mileage with one of our logbooks. Keep in mind that miles per gallon will actually drop because Oxon2 changes how oxygen is used in combustion and onboard computers use oxygen data to calculate mileage, making some calculations inaccurate. We typically see a cleanout phase for the first 2 fill-ups where mileage may decrease while Oxon2 is cleaning the engine. You’ll experience more power, and less harmful emissions in performance phase which will occur after the cleanout phase and for as long as you use Oxon2.
